CARDIOLOGIST:BC- Western Cardiology, Victoria BC requires a general cardiologist for a 1 month outpatient locum August 23 – September 19 2021 . The locum is set in a large collegial 8 cardiologist outpatient clinic affiliated with the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Island health region BC. The position covers a busy outpatient practice in a multi-physician group with treadmill and holter on site. The affiliated Royal Jubilee is a modern tertiary hospital offering a full array of cardiac services including complex angioplasty, full cardiac surgical services, a busy pacing, ICD and EP/ablation program, level 3 echo, cardiac CT, CMR PET and cardiac rehab on site. Western Cardiology is an active teaching site affiliated with UBC and UVic. Remuneration is fee for service with 70% of billings retained.
