There is an FP opportunity available to cover an Alternate Level Care unit part-time at Fellburn Care Centre (6050 East Hastings Street). An Alternate Level of Care (ALC) patient is someone who does not require the intensity of resources or services provided in a hospital setting. This position is paid hourly at the sessional rate.
The position is for Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 5.25 hrs per day, but only requires 2 hrs of onsite work each of those days, as the remaining hours can be done virtually. There are 34 patients in the unit.
