Commencing 20 July to 13 August
5 days work week approx with flexibility, usually 2 days in the office, 3 days on the phone from home. The office new, well appointed and fully equipped. It is located in Jack Nathan Health Centre in Walmart in Kelowna.
Cloud-based systems (EMR, phone, and email) allow you to work seamlessly from home or the office.
Split offered 85-15 negotiable
Practice usually bills approx 400 000 to 450 000 per year, possibly more in LFP model
Daily practice volume is 35-40 pts per day.
EMR is Oscar/Juno – well evolved
Practice demographic similar to rest of Kelowna – 50 + mainly
Accommodation: available, negotiable
Possibly for long-term association: I hope to assemble a group of like-minded physicians who wish to associate with 3 or 4 others, co-locate, and provide internal cross-coverage for the other physicians for a period of 3 or 4 months a year.

- Community / Neighbourhood There are excellent local schools. The university is expanding rapidly including the introduction of a medical school in the last few years. Our airport is expanding with the regular addition of new international (including trans-atlantic) routes and passenger traffic is up year after year. It is one of the most quickly expanding cities in Canada for the last several years. There is a progressive business innovation and technology community here, with the recent opening of the Okanagan Centre for Innovation www.okanaganinnovation.com. The city has fabulous summer and winter recreational opportunities and a perfect 4 season climate with warm summers and mild winters. Large beautiful lake right in town and two great family-orientated ski hills (Big White and Silver Star) approx an hour away.

- Payment Terms Split 85-15 calculated on all properly billed MSP bills. Payable within one month of the close-off date before which the bills were submitted. You keep 100 % of private bills.
