Food For The Soul (FFTS) is a non-profit organization based in Maple Ridge providing care for clients more likely to face challenges re: social determinants of health including homelessness and substance use disorders. We believe access to quality healthcare is a human right and that everyone deserves a chance to move forward in order to reach his or her full potential.
We are seeking a regular part-time physician motivated to assess & manage patients with substance dependence as well as other chronic and acute medical issues. The physician will be expected to carry a small caseload of potential complex clients including individuals who are candidates for OAT.
Administrative duties are relatively minimal at this location and support staff are highly experienced. There is also no overhead. Both virtual and in-person consultations are possible. The selected physician is ideally available to work on Tuesdays and the hours are flexible.
Interested physicians should be fully licensed with CPSBC. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
