SFU Health and Counselling Services (HCS) is seeking a physician (GP or CCFP) to join its multidisciplinary team providing services to domestic and international students at the SFU Burnaby Campus. Our team consists of Physicians, a Registered Nurse, Mental Health Nurses, a Transition Case Manager, Psychologists, Registered Clinical Counsellors and Counselling Interns. Ideal applicants will have a range of medical skill-sets, including diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders, working with the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. The applicant must be registered with CPSBC and have CMPA coverage.
Location: SFU Burnaby Campus, 8888 University Drive
Hours of Offer: 9-4:30 Mondays and Tuesdays (Closed on all Statutory Holidays)
Be willing to participate in sharing after-hour calls with other HCS physicians.
EHR: Intrahealth Profile. Virtual appointments via ZOOM
Remuneration: Service Contract at a Sessional Rate initially with Option of Converting to Alternate Payment Plan (APP), at a Fixed Hourly Rate with Benefits after 12 months.
