Lions Gate Hospital is currently seeking qualified Hospitalist locums to provide MRP medical services to acute care medical patients, geriatrics, and MRP care for neurological, neurosurgical and orthopedic patient populations, with consultant support. The applicant must have Hospitalist experience, with expertise caring for a diverse patient population in a busy community hospital. New graduates will definitely be considered if they can show a focus on hospital medicine during training. Our group values strong clinical skills, congenial group dynamics and a positive work ethic.
We have recently created a new line due to workload which has opened up summer locum opportunities. We will also be hiring over the next few months into more permanent positions ( keep an eye on Health Match BC if interested). The ideal candidates will be able to commit 2+ weeks to locum over the summer but we are also looking to add to the locum pool for the fall and beyond,

- Work Environment LGH is a 300+ bed community hospital located in beautiful North Vancouver. It is a very collegial work environment with excellent consultant support. The hospitalist team is 17 + members strong with 9 shifts per day, 1 per evening.
