Urgent！GP locum needed Burnaby clinic for Mar17 – 2025- Mar 28 – 2025 !!

Dr. Tan, GP, is seeking a temporary locum from March 17, 2025, to March28 , 2025. Her normal clinic hours are Monday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday from 8 AM-3 PM. in person + telemed

Generally, Dr. Tan sees 5-6 patients per hour and takes lunch at 1PM. We need approximately 3-5 days/week of flexible coverage. The locum can decide to see any walk-ins or participate in our telemedicine rotation if the schedule doesn’t fill up.

The patient panel consists of mostly geriatric patients that require longer appointments.

Some of the patients can only speak Chinese. Although it is beneficial for the locum to speak Chinese, we do have a bilingual, translator staff on site to assist.

The locum split will be discussed in person .

The system is OSCAR EMR, and telemedicine/phone call appointments are supported.

The practice has 3 other family physicians.

There is another Doctor who works in the walk-in clinic and can provide additional support if needed.
