The MuscleMD Clinic group was established in 2013 and has grown to a total of 4 clinics, performing over 30,000 treatments per year. The medical team consists of primarily Family Physicians with a focused practice in pain treatment. We have an anesthesiologist on staff who offers pain education to patients as well as a consulting service.
Treatments offered include Trigger Point Injections (direct and image-guided), Nerve blocks, Therapeutic Botox, Prolotherapy and PRP. The majority of services offered are insured under MSP allowing treatment to be accessible to as many British Columbians as possible.
We work closely with a number of agencies such as the Complex Chronic Diseases Program, Pelvic pain clinic at BC Women’s Hospital, UBC sports medicine, BC Cancer Agency as well as other tertiary centers. Patients are referred from a broad range of specialties including Family Practice, Rheumatology, Neurology, Physiatry, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, ENT, Gynecology etc.
